Eileen Whalen, creator and owner of Whalen Designs, specializes in designing and painting canvas floorcloths, place mats, table runners, and wall hangings. Eileen’s 15 years of faux finishing and decorative painting experience and training result in her edgy and one-of-a-kind style. In describing her unique approach, Eileen explains, “I love to use metallic paints as a medium in my work – it adds depth and texture. I am also a fan of mixing various types of paints and glazes together just to give it a different look.”

Additionally, Eileen believes that bringing a little bit of nature into a home creates a calming and inviting environment. “I specialize in animal prints and seascapes because there is no art more beautiful than nature itself,” she explains. Eileen has recently expanded her collection into more modern prints as well.
